Charles Hoskinson, the founder of Cardano, has sarcastically reacted to a poll seeking ADA enthusiasts’ opinions on whether he should continue to “remain the face of Cardano.” 

The poll was created on Twitter by a Cardano supporter who goes by the username @LaPetiteADA. 

The user called on Cardano supporters to decide whether Hoskinson should continue to lead the project’s research and development.

ADA Holders Support Hoskinson

It is noteworthy that the poll was created yesterday and has so far gotten over 4,022 votes. Out of the total votes recorded so far, the vast majority of respondents, representing 81.2%, voted “YES,” suggesting that Hoskinson should remain “the face of Cardano.” 

However, the remaining participants, which represented 18.8% at press time, voted “NO.” 

Reactions to the Poll

The poll has sparked mixed reactions on the microblogging platform. Many people consider the poll disrespectful to Hoskinson, especially concerning his contributions to the Cardano project.

Reacting to the comment, @LaPetiteADA noted that the purpose of the poll was to find out how many Cardano supporters still love Hoskinson.

Mixed Feelings About Hoskinson

It is expected that most investors may have their doubts about Hoskinson based on the massive plunge in the price of ADA, the native cryptocurrency of Cardano. 

ADA has fallen 83.6% since it hit an all-time high (ATH) of $3.09, according to Coingecko data. The fall in ADA price is caused by several factors, especially political and economic events.

However, ADA’s price crash should not undermine the contributions of Hoskinson, who has always stood with Cardano.
