Ronin Network Staking Is Now Live With 5 Game Projects
RON staking allows token holders to actively participate in sustaining the Ronin Network while reaping benefits. Users may earn RON by delegating tokens to any of the 22 validators according to their contributions, uptime, and commission rate. Validators have till April 12th to configure their nodes.
This is long-awaited news since RON has been available since early 2022, but its usage has been confined to paying transaction fees and farming.
The first game studio partners working on Ronin Network have also been revealed, paving the way for Ronin to become the go-to launchpad for exciting Web3 games. Directive Games, a firm formed by gaming industry experts, is developing The Machines Arena, a cross-platform team-based shooter for Ronin and other platforms.
The Ronin team is asking the community to help disseminate the word beyond their current network by sharing it with friends, family, and followers on social media channels such as Twitter.
The company also points out that all of the other games are still in development and have not yet opened for token sales or NFTs, so the community should be wary of fraud.
This breakthrough is crucial for the wider crypto and NFT operating business since it illustrates the gaming industry’s expanding acceptance of blockchain technology. Beyond Axie Infinity, the debut of RON staking and the news of game developers working on Ronin indicate that the platform aspires to become a big participant in web3 gaming.
The period of staking support for RON and the introduction of the development project on the Ronin Network took occurred a full year after the Ronin bridge event was assaulted by hackers, taking away more than $620 million in cryptocurrency. This is one of the most significant hacks in the crypto industry’s history.
