Tron DAO Announces Season 3 of TRON Grand Hackathon 2022: Details

The new TRON Grand Hackathon 2022 from TRON DAO and BitTorrent Chain starts soon. Due to the success of Season 2, in which more than 1,800 participants with 200 projects took part, the organizers decided to continue the great competition of developers and not to put it off for too long.

There are many innovations in the new season. First of all, the prize pool of the hackathon will be increased. While previously the total pool was $1 million, now the winners of the tracks will share $1.2 million. The tracks themselves have also increased; there are now 5 with a new Academy track that will select 10 winners.

Season 3 of TRON Grand Hackathon 2022: prizes

In total, there will be a 30 prize spots, with the biggest prize of $60,000 waiting for the DeFi, GameFi, NFT and Web3 track champion, who will be determined by the judges. An important clarification is that in the Ecosystem track, participants will be chosen both on technical aspects and creative aspects. The total number of possible winners in this track is 10.

The new Academy track will also select 5 winners by judge’s decision. The other 5 track winners will be selected based on an «honorable mention» and will receive a $5,000 prize.

To participate in Season 3 of TRON Grand Hackathon 2022, you need to join the TRON DAO community at Discord, fill out a special form and then follow the instructions that will come in the mail.
