Updates on Maintenance Margin Tiers of USDⓈ-M LUNA2 Perpetual Contracts (2022-09-15)

Fellow Binancians,
Binance Futures will adjust the maintenance margin tiers of the USDⓈ-M LUNA2 Perpetual Contracts on 2022-09-15 at 13:00 (UTC), as reflected in the table below.
The maintenance margin rate will be adjusted for the first tier. Existing positions opened before the update will be affected. It is strongly advised to adjust the position and leverage prior to the adjustment in order to avoid any potential liquidation.
Updates to Margin Tiers:

• LUNA2USDT (USDⓈ-M Perpetual Contracts)

Notes:

• It is important to note that the maintenance margin change will directly affect liquidation price. Users who held existing positions of this USDⓈ-M Perpetual Contracts will be affected. To avoid being liquidated (i.e. margin ratio hits 100%), please add more margin to your USDⓈ-M Futures account or reduce your positions. It is recommended to control the margin ratio below 80%.
• Maintenance margin rate change will affect the funding rate. Capped Funding Rate = clamp (Funding Rate, -0.75 * Maintenance Margin Ratio, 0.75 * Maintenance Margin Ratio). For more details on funding rate, please refer to Introduction to Binance Futures Funding Rates.
