The NFT collection of Amitabh Bachchan
Amitabh Bachchan’s NFT series is the most expensive NFT ever sold in India. In the November 2021 auction, the NFT series “BeyondLife.club” brought in $966,000, or about 7.18 crore.
In the NFT series, Amitabh performs his father Harivansh Rai Bachchan’s elegant poetry in Madhushala NFTs in his distinctive baritone. The list also included artwork in NFT format created by the dean of Bollywood. The first minute saw a total of 6 million bids on the 5,000 NFTs, which were all sold out in just 54 minutes.
Ishita Banerjee’s rendition of the God of Vishnu
The digital avatar of Vishnu by Ishita Banerjee is the second-most expensive NFT ever sold in India. Ishita Banerjee is a Montreal-based artist of Indian descent.
According to the exchange rate in effect at the time, Ms. Banerjee’s NFT recreation of the fourth avatar of Vishnu brought in 3,200 WRX or $2,66,616 on the WazirX NFT marketplace in June 2021. Additionally, her two other works of art, which feature Kali and the Phoenix, brought in $2,49,743.36 and $2,42,019.34, respectively.

Ranveer Singh’s NFTs on his film
Ranveer Singh, the Simba of Bollywood, is third on the list. In December 2021, the NFT collectibles, which featured digital movie posters ( Film -83), well-known movie scenes, songs, and dialogue, were introduced. They were produced on the Polygon blockchain. Within an hour of the launch, all of the NFTs were sold out, bringing in a tidy Rs 10 lakh.
Manish Malhotra’s NFT collection
By releasing five exclusive sketches and runway GIFs of his couture featuring Lisa Ray, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor, and Alia Bhatt in October 2021, celebrity fashion designer Manish Malhotra joined the cryptocurrency bandwagon. Within minutes of their release, buyers flocked to the NFTs, which each sold for $4,000 on the open market.

When Amitabh Bachchan and Ranveer Singh are on the list, how can Thalaiva be left out? Rajnikant NFT is also among the most expensive NFTs in India. In July 2022, South Indian megastar Rajinikanth also became a member of the NFT. In order to launch the NFT series based on the 2007 action thriller “Shivaji the Boss,” the matinee idol collaborated with Singapore-based NFT marketplace Diginoor.io. Within minutes of the launch, investors snapped up the NFTs.
