Ripple Exploring IPO As SEC Lawsuit Nears Its End?

Ripple News: The crucial legal between U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Ripple Labs is expecting to receive a Summary Judgement from the District court. Sure of bagging a win, Ripple reportedly hosted a private session with several major investors expecting a verdict in the XRP lawsuit by the end of this year.

Ripple And Private Meeting With Top Wall Street Analysts

Eleanor Terrett, a Fox Business Journalist reported that Ripple organized a private road show in April 2023. It is being suggested as a marketing event where a firm and its underwriters engage with several potential investors to seek the possibility of an Initial public offering (IPO). She added that the event was attended by top institutional investment firms on the Street.

She mentioned that this meeting doesn’t suggests that Ripple will go public in a few months from now. A company requires at least 6 months to go in for an IPO. However, the recent investor meeting hints that the blockchain firm is planning for something big ahead. Read More XRP News Here…

Back in May 2022, Ripple CEO, Brad Garlinghouse during the World Economic Forum in Davos reportedly said that the company will explore the possibility of an IPO once the legal battle with the US SEC comes to an end. However, he expected that the commission won’t slow down the process to gain regulatory clarity.
