Terra Whistleblower Fatman Promises “Leftover Yields” To UST Victims; Do Kwon Reacts, Calls It Scam

Do Kwon warns Crypto Twitter against taking up a recent offer from Fatman, calling it a scam.

Renowned Terra informant and whistleblower Fatman recently took to Twitter to promise “leftover” yields to users. Most of the crypto community on Twitter have expressed their doubts about such an offer. Surprisingly enough to most users, Terra’s Do Kwon appears to be among those calling Fatman’s offer a hoax.

Fatman’s tweet reads, “Received access to a high-yield BTC farm based on a private carry trade operated by an up-and-coming fund. I’ve maxed out what I could, so there’s some leftover allocation, and I thought I’d pass it along – priority will be given to UST victims. DM for more details if interested.”

Although Fatman has set up a condition of public disclosure, the community remains skeptical about the offer. Crypto Twitter influencer, Degen Spartan, quoted the tweet with an obvious mockery, expressing disbelief.

One user asked Fatman: “Did you get hacked.”

Fatman replied: “Not hacked; it’s me. It’s a genuine opportunity from a fund that I’m glad to be able to share with people on Twitter, but the available allocation is fairly low Also, when I close it in a day or so, I’ll make sure to publish all of the numbers, so everything is above board.”

In reply to Degen Spartan’s comment, Do Kwon asserted that Fatman’s offer was an obvious scam. This caused an uproar, with most users arguing that the Terra founder is not in a position to comment on such cases, given his records.

Fatman insists that he is the one behind the tweet despite several users questioning the veracity of the offer and suggesting that the renowned whistleblower’s account has suffered a hack.

Fatman came to the limelight during the heat of the Terra collapse. Coming out as a Terra whistleblower, the pseudonymous Twitter user made some accusations against Terra. As previously reported by TheCryptoBasic, Fatman accused Do Kwon of entering a deal with Jump to manipulate the markets. He also mentioned that Terra might not disburse the promised refund to the collapse victims.

Additionally, in May, Fatman produced a video of Do Kwon allegedly referring to a “kill switch” for the Terra project. Due to his contribution to uncovering some information about Terra, Fatman has gained the trust of several users. This recent offer appears to be putting that prestige on the line.
