Acceptance of Awards in Q1 2023

The fund would first concentrate on Decentralized Applications (dApps), integrations, initiatives, and events that promote Bitcoin.com’s Verse community. It would begin accepting award applications from programmers and other ecosystem players in Q1 2023. The rewards and utility tokens for Bitcoin.com are called VERSE. It is a cross-chain token based on the ERC-20 specification and created with high EVM interoperability in mind. Verse Token to Go Live in Q4 of 2022

After the public auction in November, the VERSE token would go live in Q4 of 2022. The VERSE token supply serves as the fund’s primary source of funding. According to Bitcoin.com, 10% of the VERSE token supply was acquired by strategic purchasers for $33.6 million in a private sale that ended in May this year. These buyers included Digital Strategies and Blockchain.com. The Verse Development Fund granted 34 percent of the total quantity of VERSE tokens.
