Rareboard: ‘BNB Chain Has Grown Massively in the Past Year’
Rareboard Accounts for Significant NFT Volume on BNB Chain
Coming off Rareboard’s recent “Birthday Mega Contest” marking the NFT Marketplace Aggregator’s first year in existence, the project’s Growth Lead Luke Rare said they are extremely bullish about Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) on BNB Chain.
“We saw a 600% growth Quarter on Quarter for BNB Chain NFTs from Q1 to Q2 to this year, according to Messari data, with Rareboard accounting for 1/5 of that volume through its Aggregation and Launchpad,” Rare told BSC News.
He feels the growth on the chain comes from a mixture of places, one of them being the PancakeSwap’s PancakeSquad collection, the creation of which spawned Rareboard.
Rare said the Squaddies NFTs account for more than 150,000 BNB (about $200 million) volume on their own, dwarfing all other projects. Their recent volume has increased with PancakeSwap adding private sale allocation to their IFOs to Squaddie holders.
Apart from that, other impressive collections have brought their own innovations, such as PixelSweeper, which has swept more than 200 Squaddies and has had over $3 million of volume itself, Rare said.
There are also the dynamic NFTs from Moonpets and Mint Pass successes fromthe Gooodfellas group. Rareboard has also been added to the MVB5 accelerator and has received a grant to become a core NFT aggregator on BNB Chain.
Rareboard is most likely to focus the grant proceeds on building non-revenue-generating features, such as their analytics.
Rareboard’s Birthday Mega Contest concluded on Oct 11., with one lucky winner walking away with NFTs worth nearly 9 BNB (nearly $2,500). The contest featured 40 NFT collections, including the BSC News NFT.
