Binance.US Receives Its Money Transmitter License In Nevada
Binance US has expanded its reach into Nevada by obtaining a money transmitter license to do its business. The Nevada Department of Business and Industry’s Financial Institutions Division issued permission to the US branch of the international bitcoin exchange. Brian Shroder, Chief Executive Officer of Finance.US, stated in the official blog.
«We continue to take the necessary steps to ensure we are operationally compliant across the United States, our customers’ assets are secure, and our platform is safe and transparent.»
Shroder added that the exchange’s decision to apply for a Nevada business license supports its continuous efforts to improve compliance.
Nevada — Binance US’s Seventh Jurisdiction
Nevada is the seventh state to grant the exchange a money transmitter license in 2022. Other jurisdictions are West Virginia, Connecticut, Wyoming, Rhode Island, Idaho, and Puerto Rico. Currently operating in 46 states and Puerto Rico, Binance US offers some of the lowest market fees for listing more than 120 tokens.
Astana Financial Services Authority (AFSA)
In other headlines, Binance reported that the Astana Financial Services Authority [AFSA] had granted it an in-principle operating permit to conduct business in Kazakhstan. In a recent blog post, Binance declared that it had been given permission and was now free to start a digital asset trading facility and offer custody at the Astana International Financial Centre [AIFC]. Binance US is also growing its customer support team and tools, providing cheap or no costs, and introducing new goods and services to be the most customer-focused organization in the cryptocurrency market. Binance continued to operate despite the devastating bear market and even had expansion plans when other companies were fighting for survival.
