Discount Bought As Top Whale Adds 223B Shiba Inu

Key Ethereum investor added 223.07 Billion Shiba Inu, making Shiba Inu the 8th most purchased token among the top 1000 ETH Whales in the past 24 hours.

WhaleStats recently reported a massive accumulation from the 329th biggest ETH Whale. As per the report, the key ETH investor tagged “BlueWhale0073” purchased a staggering 223,077,962,531 (223.07B) SHIB, worth $2,755,012 ($2.75M) in one significant transaction. The transaction occurred around 10 hours ago from the time of this writing.

This move has propelled Shiba Inu to become the 8th most purchased token among the top 1000 ETH whales in the past 24 hours, according to WhaleStats.

The surge in ETH whale interest in Shiba Inu is attributed to the upcoming release of Shibarium Beta. As reported earlier by The Crypto Basic, Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer of Shiba Inu, has dispelled rumors that the launch might be on Valentine’s Day, stating that he cannot provide a fixed launch date at this time as the launch is not an on/off switch.

However, in a recent telegram chat, Kusama hinted that the launch could take place before May this year. This hint came after a community member speculated that the launch could happen on Valentine’s Day. Kusama responded to the inquiry lightheartedly and stated: “MAY be….just kidding, it’ll be out before May, lol”.

As of press time, Shiba Inu is trading at the price of $0.00001236, down -4.38% over the last day, with a 24-hour trading volume of $297,101,396 ($297.10M).
