Shiba Inu Offically Reveals New Details About its Metaverse

Users to Explore Shiba Inu Metaverse Project By Year End.

The team behind Shib: The Metaverse has shared a new update on the progress made toward developing Shiba Inu’s metaverse.

In a blog post yesterday, the team said it had made significant progress in key areas related to the project. Some areas include creating new designs for new hubs, modifying the metaverse roadmap, and carrying out structural changes for the team.

Based on the progress recorded so far, the team expressed confidence that users will have access to some of the hubs within the metaverse by the end of this year. Upon gaining access to the metaverse, users can build different projects or even choose to play in some parts of the hub.

“While all development takes time, the MV team is confident that by the end of 2023 users will have the opportunity to explore some of the areas in this fantastic world, build, design, play, and develop within it.”

Notably, users will not be given access to all parts of the metaverse by year’s end, as the team might still be working on some areas. However, it promised to make several optimized hubs and tools available for users to start building immediately.

The team did not disclose the names of the hubs that will be available by the end of the year. For context, Shiba Inu’s metaverse has 11 hubs, including WAGMI Temple, Ryo Plaza, Tech Trench, Canyon, Rocket Pond, etc.

Other Updates

Meanwhile, the team also shared updates on some major areas related to the project. According to the announcement, the development infrastructure of Shib: The Metaverse went through a major upgrade with the intention of giving users a more photorealistic experience.

In addition, the team is currently developing relevant tools for the first version of the metaverse. Some of the tools include a plot builder, game maker, and avatar builder.

It also highlighted its recent exhibit at the SXSW 2023 festival, where it gave attendees a first-hand preview of WAGMI Temple.

The team further disclosed Rocket Pond, a hub that will take users to new heights.

The team has also created a new Twitter account for the metaverse, dedicated to sharing updates about the project. Despite launching recently, the account has attracted the interest of Shiba Inu community members, with over 5,600 users following the account at press time.

Shib: The Metaverse announced a contest to giveaway 10 plots of land to celebrate the launch of the new account. Interested participants must follow and retweet the giveaway post, and the contest is scheduled to end on April 30.

The development comes days after ShibaZam shared a photo of a meeting involving Shib: The Metaverse’s members, with the caption, “Something is brewing.” It was unclear to many Shiba Inu enthusiasts what the meeting was all about at the time of the post. However, many believed that Shiba Inu’s metaverse project would achieve its goal.
