Zaradar and Kim To Work on a New LUNC Development Team, Confirm Not Leaving Terra Classic

Terra Classic Core Developer Zaradar Confirms He Is Not Leaving The LUNC Community.

Terra Classic core developer Tobias Andersen, AKA Zaradar, has put to bed fears that he may leave the Terra Classic community in a tweet today.

According to Zaradar, despite leaving the Terra Rebels, he is not leaving the community. Rather, Zaradar says he plans to focus on Layer 1 development work now, urging the community to stay focused on building.

“I am not leaving the community, I am simply trying to focus the time I have on L1 and let TR grow onto a path of its own,” Zaradar wrote. “Lets all just look forward and focus on building, rather the battling.”

Just to clarify. I am not leaving the community, I am simply trying to focus the time I have on L1 and let TR grow onto a path of its own. Lets all just look forward and focus on building, rather the battling ?

Recall that the developer announced his decision to leave the Terra Rebels yesterday, citing disputes over funding, as reported by The Crypto Basic. Unsurprisingly, the decision stoked fears that the respected developer would leave the network.

Meanwhile, Classy (@ClassyCrypto_), a community influencer hours before Zaradar tweeted, asserted that the developer is about to launch a separate development team with fellow core developer Edward Kim.

JUST IN: @ZaradarBH states he left @TerraRebels to work with @edk208 on a new $LUNC development team. ?

Notably, fellow community influencer Crypto King (@CryptoKing_NFT) also shared the same sentiment urging the community to support them when it comes.

? $LUNC community ?

L1 developers, such as Ed Kim and Zaradar will be bringing forward proposals soon to complete some much needed work for the blockchain!

Lets make sure to support it, I will ensure you all have the details the moment its all live.

While The Crypto Basic has yet to see a source for this, it may be plausible, considering the message from Terra Rebels’ admin ClanMudhorn yesterday. Per the message that The Crypto Basic shared yesterday, Zaradar had requested Layer 1 funding for a team of developers outside of the Terra Rebels.

Notably, the community welcomed Zaradar’s tweet today with excitement, as yesterday it was feared that the network would be losing a key developer.

All of these come in the wake of a controversial proposal that allocated 937.5 million from the community pool to the Terra Rebels.
